2018 Ferretti 450. Style, comfort, class, performance, brightness, lounge areas out on the sea and sporty
DNA: imagine these features at the very height of excellence and you will have
the Ferretti Yachts 450. Ferretti Yachts 450 is the result of the collaboration
between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee, the Group’s Engineering
Department, which supervised the technical and naval engineering, and the
Studio Zuccon International Project, which handled both exterior and interior
design. The flybridge yacht features sleek, dynamic lines which give this
45-footer the sporty feel that embodies the latest generation of Ferretti
Yachts. The three decks let you enjoy every moment on board, thanks to
comfortable and extraordinarily bright interiors with glazed surfaces on main
and lower decks. The furnishings were developed by the Ferretti Group
Engineering Department interior designers to create a refined, playful contrast
between the variety of materials and colours. This produces a sophisticated
combination of woods, lacquered surfaces and fabrics that fuses a contemporary
living style with a traditional marine design, a hallmark of the brand. It is a
combination which, in almost 50 years, has captivated owners all around the
world, from the USA to China, where Ferretti Yachts is synonymous with Italian

2018 Riva Domino Super. Johann Wolfgang Goethe wrote that: “Perfection is the measure of heaven, and the wish to be perfect the measure of man.” This may be why Mauro Micheli, from Officina Italiana Design, and the Ferretti Group designers decided to perfect a highly successful boat, the 86’ Domino, of which as many as twenty have been produced and sold worldwide. It was thus not just a restyling exercise but a meticulous design process that led to the creation of the 88’ Domino Super, a planing prodigy measuring 26.84 metres in overall length and 6.30 metres in maximum width. With so many innovative features, both functional and aesthetic, this yacht will be difficult to perfect (but as Goethe teaches us, Riva’s designers are bound to try to, sooner or later). One is immediately struck by its sleek and aerodynamic profile, further enhanced by the original colour of the hull, a dark shade of grey named “London Grey”, also chosen for several details on the deck, creating a charming contrast with the pale grey (“Moon Grey”) of the superstructure. On board, the spaces themselves have been redesigned, with many advantages for yacht owners, guests and crew members. The new sun deck, for instance, enhances the sportiness of the craft while at the same time offering comfort and pleasure to guests; and the open air control station, which has been shifted to the centre of the boat, is very compact and features a roomy, comfortable sofa forward. A strong sense of dynamism and radiance is produced by the single large window on the hull, with its very bold design pointing like an arrow from the middle of the boat through to the foredeck. The stern area, too, has been completely revamped, offering countless amenities to guests and great advantages to the crew as well. And since at Riva everything is conceived with comfort in mind, two Seakeeper stabilizers to facilitate mooring can be installed on the yacht at the customer’s request.

2018 Riva 56 Rivale. Riva always challenges the notion of what is “state of the art” in yachting. The 56’ Rivale is the newest star to shine in the galaxy of legendary Rivas. Perfect for those who love spending their holiday on the sea and those who enjoy unforgettable day cruises, the 56’ Rivale is unrivalled, gliding triumphantly through the shipyard’s 175-year-old history. Full of charm, power and technology, it immediately conveys elegance and sport. The sleek, glazed windows run seamlessly across the hull with flush portholes, enabling those on board to feel truly part of the sea, and the bold metallic of the exterior is joined with sleek steel elements and teak detailing A further touch of style that distinguishes the Rivale: the unique windshield protecting the helm, a true blend of engineering and design resulting in a stunning aerodynamic profile. Officina Italiana Design joined forces with Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department, to create the completely new hull of the Riva’s 56’ Rivale. The utmost attention to detail is classically Riva, using the finest materials, distinctive hallmarks of the brand throughout its history: from the high gloss mahogany of the interiors to the natural teak of the exteriors, from lacquered finishes to stainless steel details, and from mirrored and glazed surfaces to superior leathers, the legacy of all the stars that make up the universe of Riva is reflected in the new Rivale.

2018 Ferretti 550. This new flybridge yacht plays a crucial role in the brand’s development strategy. The Ferretti Yachts 550, which features an unprecedented hull design, equipment and engine room arrangement and interior layout, is once again the brilliant outcome of the long-standing cooperation between the Group, its Engineering Department in particular, and Studio Zuccon International Project. This yacht combines elegance and a very sporty character, with clear-cut and yet very seducing lines. The main deck uninterrupted glazing ‘cuts’ the yacht’s profile, increasing its dynamic look, while the three large glazed surfaces on the hull sides – the cabin windows – perfectly harmonize with the overall design and grant magnificent views from the interiors as well as plenty of natural light. The frameless fiberglass flush portholes result in very clean lines. The lowered flybridge and the new forward lounge area on the wheelhouse offer incredibly wide outdoor relaxation areas, ensuring great privacy with no impact on the craft’s slender profile.

2018 Ferretti Yachts 920, exhibiting all of the serene strength of a giant of the nautical world, is an exceptional yacht not just in terms of its size but also because of its innovative nature. The splendid flybridge, designed by the Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department in conjunction with Zuccon International Project, stands out due to the ground-breaking introduction of the “wide body” concept. In addition to giving the yacht an imposing presence on the water, the raised forward section of the hull has also allowed a “wide-body” master suite to be included on the main deck. The yacht’s “bold” character is emphasized by the gunwale, which continues beyond the bulwark walkways and “cuts” into the design of the windows in the master cabin. The majestic Ferretti Yachts 920 (28.49 metres LOA) instantly catches the eye. Meanwhile, the hull is 23.98 metres long, so it can be registered as a recreational craft. Its dynamic, irrepressible profile develops the stylistic design features that have led to the international success of recently launched models and have completely modernised the fleet. In addition to the raised forward section, other stunning aspects include the remarkable number of relaxation spaces and the luxurious furnishings in the outdoor areas. The magnificent interiors rival the versions found in higher category models. The pilot house is a technical area with a “futuristic” design. The captain can run the entire yacht from here thanks to a large control station, equipped with a next-gen steering system and a number of touchscreen displays that encompass all of the on-board monitoring systems and navigation instruments.
